Christianity Explored Course

A Christianity Explored course will start on Monday 24 October at 6:30pm (with meal) and run for 7 weeks. More details to follow. The course will be held in the church.

400th Anniversary of King James Bible Schools Event

Wednesday 28th – Friday 30th September.

Four events will take place during school hours with the P6-P7 from Smithton, Cradlehall, Duncan Forbes and Balloch primary schools attending this event in the church.

Volunteers are needed to help, so please sign the sheet at the reception desk if you are able to assist, or contact Ali MacDonald.

Also circular polystyrene pizza bases are required for a craft activity. Please leave pizza bases on Ali’s desk in the office.

Conference: The Relevance of the Bible in 2011

A Conference discussing the Relevance of the Bible in 2011 will be held in Greyfriars Free Church, Inverness on Saturday 3 September from 2pm – 5pm. The speakers will be Nigel Anderson, Fergus Macdonald and David Meredith.

Dr Michael Horton: The Gospel-Driven Life

There will be a public meeting hosted by Rutherford House on Thursday 1 September at 7.30pm in the East Church, Inverness. The speaker is Dr Michael Horton from Westminster Seminary in California. Dr Horton will be speaking on ‘The Gospel-Driven Life’ from Genesis 15.

Praise evening with Elsie Normington and Friends

There will be a 70’s & 80’s Classic Praise Concert with Elsie Normington and Friends in Smithton Church on Saturday 27 August at 7:30pm. Admission £5 (children free).

The event will feature some guest soloists, Singing for Pleasure and the worship band will represent various Inverness Churches.

Proceeds go to Inverness Prospects and Tanzanian Projects.
