New YF Website
If you have not yet seen the new YF website, head on over and check it out. If you remember the old website, you will notice how much cleaner and simpler this site is. We want to focus more on the content of the blog. There are blog posts for parents and youth alike, plus a special section just for parents. Also, make sure you browse through the resources and check back often for updates. You can even sign up for an email subscription, meaning whenever there is a new blog post, it will be delivered to your email inbox straight away.

Anna MacArthur in Zambia
Our own Anna MacArthur is in Zambia working with Education through Sport Foundation (EduSport), whose mission is “to empower underserved communities through their active participation in Sport.”
You can keep up with Anna’s adventures, as she is blogging about her experience here.
Sunday School – New Format
We will soon be combining our Sunday School with Smithton Outreach Sunday School (SOS). It will take place each Sunday from 11am-12:15pm and will include Bible lessons, games, crafts, singing, and loads of fun and laughter.
The launch date is set for the 18th of April, and you are warmly invited to join us for a family lunch afterward. For more information, please contact our family worker, Ali MacDonald.
Road to Recovery
Road to Recovery is a course for those who have suffered from alcohol and/or drug addictions and need practical support and care. This is done through one-on-one counseling, group meetings, family support, and ongoing aftercare. Meetings will be on Monday nights, fortnightly, at 7:30pm in the church building. The first meeting will be Monday 29 February. For more information, please contact Charlie.
Community Group Discussion Sheets
All community group discussion sheets will be available on the downloads page here. This will allow you to review the previous Sunday’s sermon and generate thoughts for discussion each Wednesday. You may also watch or listen to the sermons (sermons are usually posted on Mondays).
Community Groups Beginning 27 January!
Community Groups will be starting in just a few short weeks. These groups are vital to the life of the church, and we want each and every one of you to be involved – families and all!
A final list will be distributed soon, so make sure you know which group you are in. This list will be available here on the website in PDF form. If you have any question, email Charlie in the office.
